If you've followed the weather from around the country at all, you know that we went through a pretty tough spell of storms last night. Quite a few tornadoes ripped through the Nashville area, killing over 30 people, according to the news. We are safe where we live, but some families from Lisa's school were not so lucky.
Though none of those people lost their lives, a few lost everything else. Two of those people are Gail, one of Lisa's teacher assistants, and her husband, Donald. They got to their basement in time before a tornado hit and destroyed their house - when it passed, they looked up and saw nothing but sky. Some debris fell on them in the basement, but they don't have any severe injuries. We cannot even imagine losing everything in one fell swoop such as they did, but it is a blessing that they still have each other. You hear about stuff like this all the time, but it's so different when it happens to people you know. Please stop what you're doing and pray for Gail and her husband and the many other families who lost everything they own last night.
