Project

This is a copy of a letter I've sent to a few people. I just wanted to place it on here as well, in case I missed anyone.

I’ve been wanting to do a little project in memory of Dad for a while now, but between moving, teaching, and everything else that is life, I’ve had little time to work on it. Summer break is only 13½ days (yes, I’m counting!) away, and we finally don’t have any big plans this summer, so I can work on it…but I need your help.

I need bunches and bunches of pictures of Dad. They can be any kind of pictures: family pictures, pictures when he was younger, etc. Any pictures you could share will be quite welcome.

If you have digital pictures you’d like to share, then if you could just burn them onto a CD and send it, that would be fine. I know most of the pictures won’t be digital, and that’s fine, too. We have a scanner, so you can simply send the pictures and I’ll scan them into my computer. I know the pictures that you send may be very precious to you, as are our pictures, so the day I receive them, I will send them back to you that same day after I scan them.

The more pictures I have to choose from, the better (I hope) this project will be, so I hope to hear from many of you soon. When the project is finished, you will be able to view it through our blog.

Please send the pictures to our home. If you have any questions, you can e-mail me or call me. E-mail me for contact information. I’d like to get this project started by May 20, so whatever pictures I have by then (hopefully, I’ll have a lot!) are what I’ll be using.
